The primary goal for our services is to provide each individual with the knowledge, practice and experience to be independent adults so they can become contributing members of their community.
Many developmentally disabled adults are traditionally unemployed but can be trained to be employable given the opportunity. Specialized training and support services assist these adults to realize their maximum potential.
We provide a wide scope of services to assist individuals in achieving skills needed for successful transition to a more independent way of life.
Our Contracts Department services local and regional companies. AFI provides vocational training and employment opportunities to the people we serve.
Since government funding is dwindling, our contracted work not only
provides independence to the individuals we serve, it also builds independence for Alliance for Independence.
